Some colleagues and I are working on a national study about the service course in technical and professional communication (TPC).
We’ve just finished one of the first stages of gathering data, which was focused on crafting a sampling plan that could be generalizable. For the first time, TPC has a data-driven, field-wide understanding of the number of students the field teaches in a year. The following is a snapshot of some of the other initial findings.
